I have a two-book deal for the first books of the series title: ‘The Joshua Files’.
Book 1 is ‘Invisible City’. Book 2 – first draft written – no title yet.
‘Invisible City’ is due out in Feb 2008.
UPDATE ADDED JULY 2007
The deal was recently announced by Scholastic Children’s Books and reported by Publishing News. You can read Redhammer’s (who represent my writing) announcement here.
Meanwhile I am now working on another project. Quite Secret! I’m not giving anything away about it except that it is set in Cuba and has the working title ‘Jaguar’s Realm’.
UPDATE ADDED OCT 2007
“The Joshua Files – Invisible City” is now listed at online retailers like Amazon.
It will be available from Feb 4th 2008.

Hey Anonymous! Thanks for the comment. I’ve written book 2, we just need to edit it and agree on a title…
I have run out of good books to read do you know of any worth worth mentioning
Well, anonymous, that depends on how old you are and what kind of books you enjoy reading…
So…?
Well, I like fantasy novels like the Lord of the Rings mainly but there are allways exeptions.
oh and I am 13
Okay, here’s two recommendations off the top of my head: fantasy, how about Herbie Brennan’s “Faerie Wars” – 3 of 4 books out so far, millions sold. I had a long chat with my nephew (aged almost 13) in Australia about books the other day and this is his current fave.
And if you haven’t read “Ender’s Game” by Orson Scott Card you could try that. About a boy who goes to Battle School to train to save the world from a race of alien invaders. This is the start of a series, also, but Ender’s Game is the first written, where Ender is a young boy. Orson Scott Card is a terrific writer, very fast-paced, easy to read but with Big Themes.
Would you like me to make a special section of my website for book recommendations?
that would be great!
Okay I’ll work on this. Meanwhile why don’t you take my poll (see the right-hand side of the webpage) to let me know what i should put on my author website, which my agent and I will be developing in the next months.
